I'm meeting with Mitch and the DVP's to discuss variable pay this afternoon. I wish we were moving faster to give good guidance on the spiff chart.
ReplyDeleteIt was funny yesterday, at the end of "my shift" Angie said, well you earned some spiffs today you need to come back and get them. And I said, "Ah, just by a soda for the team." And she said well you got about $30, and I was shocked it was that much.
I'll need commission AND spiff chart guidance.
ReplyDeleteI need a good lead-off quote for the front page of the Goal Tracker. On an HDS scale of 1-5, how would you rate this one:
ReplyDelete"You control your future, your destiny. What you think about comes about. By recording your dreams and goals on paper, you set in motion the process of becoming the person you most want to be. Put your future in good hands - your own.
Mark Victor Hansen
Too many words for a lead quote. Rating: 2 (assuming 5 as the highest rating).
ReplyDeleteJohn how would you rate it if it were edit to only this many words?
ReplyDelete"You control your future, your destiny. By recording your dreams and goals on paper, you set in motion the process of becoming the person you most want to be."
Mark Victor Hansen
I think it's the right topic. It's just fairly forgettable. It's motherhood and apple pie, but it's got a beat and I can dance to it, so I give a 3.
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing, but I disregarded this quote 2 days ago. Why? you ask. Because of EXACTLY what you said...too wordy and forgettable.
ReplyDeleteOpen to other suggestions.
